Manila is the capital of the Philippines and
Puerto Princesa is the capital of Palawan

For our guests coming from abroad:

1. Please check entry visa requirement to Manila (e.g. Wordtravels.com)

2. Requires transport from Manila to Puerto Princesa, Palawan (approximate 581km; 1hr and 20mins)

Suggestions:
Airlines
* Cebu Pacific – Several daily flights from Manila and Cebu. Also flying daily from Iloilo.
* Air Asia Zest – Several daily flights from Manila.
* Philippine Airlines – Several daily flights from Manila.
* Air Juan Airline – Small 9 seat charter airline that flies Coron – Puerto Princesa (Thursday & Sunday).
* Tigerair – Flights between Singapore and Puerto Princesa (stopover in Manila).

Note: Schedules subject to change. Be aware of terminal fees to be paid in the airport

Boats and Ferries
There’s a large ferry operating from Manila or Puerto Princesa. The 2GO Ferry departs from Manila every Friday and Tuesday at 1:30pm and arrives next day at 9pm. That’s a long trip. Montenegro Lines travel between Iloilo City and Puerto Princesa.

3. From Puerto Princesa airport to Hotel Venue – 5-10mins drive (hotel guests can get meet & greet services with complimentary airport transfer)

4. Philippine Peso is the official currency ₱

Note: stock up enough on cash while in Palawan as ATM functionality may be sparse

5. Weather –
Two Seasons
* Dry Season – Coolest months (December to February)
* Dry Season – Hottest months (March to May) – This is their summer season.
* Rainy Season (June to November) – This is considered low season. July to October is also typhoon season.

Note: check what to pack, cool clothes is advisable (i.e. mosquito repellant, sunblock, first aid kit, etc)
